What is EFT?
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) was developed by Gary Craig as a modern fusion of the principles of acupuncture and kinesiology. It’s a simple procedure involving tapping on meridians, or release points, on the body. It quickly and easily resolves disturbances in the body’s energy system giving quick relief from negative emotions and painful sensations. It looks and sounds a little strange, but it can work in up to 80% of cases, often where nothing else will. For an introduction to EFT download a free EFT Manual
What is NLP?
Everything you do, you have a particular way of doing it, a pattern of feelings, thoughts and actions that make up that experience. You have to feel, think and do things in different ways to be happy, sad, anxious, confident, etc.
Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is the study of how we create our experience from feelings, thoughts and actions. Using NLP you can understand and change those unhelpful patterns quickly and easily so that you can get away from problems becoming more resourceful and less stuck.
What is TAT?
Tapas Accupressure Technique or TAT belongs to the family of energy psychology in that it is a blend of ideas from acupuncture and psychology. TAT is an easy process for ending traumatic stress, reducing allergic reactions and freeing yourself of negative beliefs. TAT is a new, simple and effective technique that delivers inner peace, relaxation, more vibrant health and empowerment in minutes. It combines lightly holding a few acupressure points on your head (the TAT pose) as you put your attention on a problem (the Steps of TAT). When you assume the pose you’re invited to consider your problem, whatever it is, in a variety of ways. This step by step process somehow ‘de-problems’ the problem. The pose is held in each step until some sort of an inner shift is experienced, this may take only a few seconds or a minute. One step leads to another and at the end of the sequence the problem is experienced in a very different way to when you started.
What happens in sessions?
Clients report that taking part in this kind of therapy is suprisingly easy. Whilst we might spend some time investigating what’s wrong, the focus of this kind of work is on solutions and outcomes, rather than re-hashing the past. Sometimes it’s conversational, or may involve exploring and changing patterns of thinking and feeling using a variety of techniques.
How long does it take?
Of course, the answer is ‘it depends’. Each person is unique and different issues may take a different number of sessions to get the result they want. However, people are often suprised how quickly results can be achieved. For example, phobias and some traumas can be resolved in less than one hour. Usually between 3 and 8 sessions are required, difficult cases may require more long term work. My aim is to get you to your outcome in the quickest most comfortable way possible.
How much does it cost?
Each hour long session costs £30.
